December to early April.
Whitefish Mountain Resort plans to run 4 December 2026 to 4 April 2027, conditions permitting.
Experiences
Then stop thinking about it. A chef in your kitchen, skis fitted at the door, a Glacier day with the timing already solved.
How it works
Tell us the dates, who is coming, and what they would actually enjoy. “Two of us ski hard, my parents do not” is more useful than a list. We come back with something specific and priced, and if a thing is not worth the money that week we say so. Then it is booked before you land: gear fitted, fridge filled, tickets held, table reserved.
We do not run the snowcat and we are not going to pretend we do. What we have is a valley we work in every day, the numbers of the people who do this properly, and enough standing with them to get you a Saturday.
Before you arrive
Year-round, arranged at booking or any time after.
Met at Glacier Park International, fifteen to twenty minutes from Whitefish.
Your list, in the fridge and the pantry before you land.
Fitted at the house. No rental line, no boot-fitting on day one.
Booked with the flight, not after it.
On request, at a time you choose.
Vetted local sitters, arranged in advance.
Mid-stay, without having to ask twice.

Whitefish Mountain Resort, including night skiing on Chairs 2, 3 and 6.
Guided terrain beyond the resort boundary.
In Olney, a few minutes from Lodge 93, and running since 1979.
Horse-drawn, through the valley.
Groomed trails at the Glacier Nordic Center, on the Whitefish Lake golf course.
Guided, gear included.
Half day and full day.
Guided, on Whitefish Lake.
The difference is almost always what time you left the house.

Glacier's high season. Book the guided days early, because they go first.
Going-to-the-Sun Road, the trailheads, and the logistics below.
The Middle Fork of the Flathead, along the park's southern boundary.
The North and Middle Forks, the main Flathead, and the Stillwater at Lodge 93's back door.
Boat, pontoon and jet ski charters. Wakesurfing if that is the day.
Trail rides from a working guest ranch.
The bike park at Whitefish Mountain Resort.
Whitefish Lake Golf Club in town, Eagle Bend down at Bigfork.
Mid-July into August. We will tell you where. We will not tell everyone.

Year-round. Most of these need forty-eight hours' notice, a few need more.
A multi-course dinner for ten, or a stocked breakfast before an early start.
After the ski day. Or the trail day. Or both.
For the night that earns it.
Family sessions, proposals, weddings.
For the table, or for the aisle.
In the great room, or out on the deck.
Worth knowing
Park policy current as of August 2026. We re-confirm the specifics before every stay, because this changes every season.
The timed-entry vehicle reservation system that ran for five seasons has been suspended park-wide. For the first time since 2020 you can drive into Glacier without a reservation.
Every activity on this page was checked against a real operator before it was written, and a few things people expect to find here are missing on purpose: there is no winter snow-tubing in this valley, only a summer dry-tubing hill, and scenic air tours over the park are being phased out.
That is good news and a new set of logistics. Going-to-the-Sun Road now runs a ticketed shuttle, and Logan Pass has a three-hour parking limit to keep the trailheads turning over. The park still closes gates when a corridor fills. Which is the actual reason to let us plan the day.
Not required in 2026. Suspended park-wide, including Going-to-the-Sun, North Fork, Many Glacier and Two Medicine.
Now ticketed. We hold yours before you arrive.
A three-hour limit. Which walk you pick should follow from that, not the other way round.
Still apply as normal.
Corridors can close temporarily when full. Before six in the morning, or after four, avoids most of it.
Request
Booked with us already or still deciding, either way something specific comes back. Ask for things that are not on this page. Most of the good ones are not.
