Step outside after dark and the northern lights ripple green over your snow-dusted lodge a Montana sky show most vacation homes can't promise.

Whitefish · The flagship

Soaring Eagle

Five king suites, two hot tubs, two saunas and a twelve-seat cinema. And the northern lights, when they show.

The home

They went eight hundred thousand over budget.

The owners say it themselves, and it is the fastest way to understand this house. The renovation ran to $1.1 million: hinges, lighting, floor-to-ceiling hand-painted murals, a twelve-seat cinema behind a red curtain. Nothing here is the cheap version of itself.

It sleeps ten across five king suites, each with its own bath. That is the unusual part. Most large homes stack bunk rooms to reach a guest count; here, three, four, even five families spread out without anyone drawing the short straw.

The amenities read like a small resort. Two hot tubs facing the Glacier peaks. Two saunas, an eight-person in the basement and a four-person barrel on the back deck. A game room with arcade cabinets, shuffleboard and pop-a-shot. A full meat smoker beside the grill, and a fire pit with a s'mores station for when the sun drops behind the range. And it sits five minutes from downtown Whitefish, eight from the airport, twenty-five from Glacier.

The house is beautifully decorated, thoughtfully designed, and exceptionally well stocked. The room layout was perfect”

“I've never seen an Airbnb pay more attention to detail than this one. Firewood, s'more stuff, milkshake machine, bear spray, everything labeled and easy to find! Incredible place.”
Chris · July 2026
“Can't speak highly enough of this magical spot in the world! So convenient to town but feels like the middle of nowhere from the backyard- sunrise over the mountains was breathtaking! Cant wait to return !”
Aaron · June 2026

Where you'll be

Close to town. Nowhere near it.

The lodge sits on private acreage with a forest line and an uninterrupted view of the snow-capped range — no neighbouring rooflines in the frame. Guests describe it as feeling like the middle of nowhere from the back deck, and five minutes from dinner on Central Avenue.

It's the rare Whitefish property that is genuinely convenient to the airport, the town, the mountain and the park at once.
