Chasing Powder

Two hundred feet from Chair 1, and a wood fire waiting when you are done.

The home

You can see the lift from the front door.

Two hundred feet. That is the distance between the entrance and Chair 1, close enough that the walk is measured in minutes instead of shuttle rides, and close enough that going back for a forgotten glove costs you nothing.

What that proximity usually buys you is a tired condo. This is not that. A local designer took the unit down to the studs and rebuilt it around a single idea: make the ski day end well. A retired chairlift bench pulled up to the dining table. A hand-painted mountain mural across the kitchen wall. A snowy pine forest behind the king bed. A real wood-burning fireplace, the kind worth sitting in front of after a day of groomers.

The kitchen is fully loaded: stainless throughout, a waterfall island that seats four, and a coffee bar stocked with grounds, pods, creamer and sugar so the first morning does not start with a grocery run. The bathroom is spa-standard. Downstairs, the shared hot tub and sauna are open year-round, and the Village is out the back door.

“We needed to relocate last minute because of flooding in Glacier. Booking was quick & easy. Such a cute place! The bed was sooo comfortable, with the softest sheets & towels. Unfortunately the weather prohibited us from enjoying the beautiful views. What a great place to rest, relax & regroup. Bill ”
